Rarely do I love every song in an entire album, which is why my iTunes is always on shuffle. There are usually songs I tend to skip or they just don’t particularly stand out for me. But these albums, every song stands out.

In no particular order:

1. “Silent Alarm” by Bloc Party (though this would be number 1)

2. “American Idiot” by Green Day

3. “Places You Have Come To Fear The Most” by Dashboard Confessional

4. “Surfacing” by Sarah McLachlan

5. “Californication” by Red Hot Chili Peppers

P.S. I’m embarrassed to learn (but thankfully I did) that The Beatles’ album “Abbey Road” was designed to be played in order. I guess you forget because it was made at a time when they were put on records and you couldn’t shuffle back then…

I was inspired by my last post to create a wish list. I’m probably not going to be receiving any of these gifts this year since I was treated to a wonderful trip to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico just a couple weeks ago. But nevertheless I have fun just putting a list together!

From Terrain

Doesn’t have to be this exact one, but I definitely need a stainless steel tumbler!

Get it at Thermos site

Too cute!

Get it at MoMA

I don’t need another cookbook, but this just looks so amazing!

Get it at Barnes & Noble

A couple of Hello Kitty items from ModCloth

Of course…

Which you can get anywhere.

Love the Beatles and I love my iTunes, so I love this gift card!

Get it at Apple

The one thing I want most for the Holidays is:

The SodaStream!!! Which you can get at BJs but I can’t find it on their site anymore! Can get at BBB too.

My new favorite home store is Terrain.

I especially love this, since I am pretty well known for being really good at roasting marshmallows!

Seriously, watch this film if you haven’t there are reruns on PBS if you are not inclined to spend money. And please don’t buy Smithfield products – EVER. Oh and Monsanto is the most evil corporation currently running on this planet. We don’t buy cheap cars, why should we buy cheap food?

Fish condo

by Abby

I want a fish just to buy this condo! I love innovative design applied to the most mundane things, usually ignored by designers.
